Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately - melamine board must never be left wet. Use coasters and place mats; standing water will swell the board at the edges. Avoid abrasive pads, solvents and bleach. Check and re-tighten fixings every few months, especially on doors and drawer runners.
