Vacuum regularly with an upright or beater-bar vacuum to lift the pile and stop grit cutting the fibres. Blot spills immediately with a clean white cloth, working from the outside of the mark inwards - never rub. Test any spot cleaner on an offcut or spare tile first. Deep clean by low-moisture encapsulation or bonnet method rather than hot-water extraction. Keep a few spare tiles from the same production batch so a damaged tile can be swapped rather than patched.
